The Bead Challenge was held at RMBS on September 17, 2009. Here are the winners as photographed by Bev Reynolds.

BEAD CHALLENGE CATEGORIES, GUIDELINES, AND PRIZES
  1. Volunteer Bead: Any jewelry or beaded object made using the 2009 volunteer bead from the Bead Bazaar.
  2. Necklace: Entries must include beads, and may incorporate wire, lampwork, found objects, fibers, buttons, knotting, and chain.
  3. Bracelet: Entries must include beads, and may incorporate wire, lampwork, found objects, fibers, buttons, knotting, and chain. Beaded Object: Entry is anything that is not jewelry, such as dolls, pictures, sticks, sculptures, and wearable clothing.
  4. Class Project: Entry is anything you created after taking an RMBS sponsored class since September, 2008. For example, David Dean, Robin Atkins, Diane Fitzgerald, Laura Shea, Kristal Wick, Bead Collage, Bead Bazaar 2009 classes, 2009 Bead Sampler classes, and Wendy Ellsworth. You will be asked to identify the class you took.
  5. Guidelines: You must be an RMBS member. Entries from previous years are not eligible. Only one entry per category.
  6. Prizes: Each category: First Prize $75; Second Prize $50.
