  The Prayer Pocket Angel Pendant
Teacher: Marion Bolson

Class Description: Students will make a unique cloth angel pendant with a snap-off bodice, revealing a pocket in which to place a prayer.
Technique: Embellishing fabric with beads
Supply List: Pattern and all materials to complete the project will be included in the kit. Students should bring sharp scissors, a beading mat, thread conditioner, and a task light with extension cord (if needed).

  Saraguro Palmas Necklace
Teacher: Ann Severine

Experience Level: Intermediate
Cost: $40
Kit Fee: $10 (Optional, including one color of size 11/0 beads / sterling silver clasp / Nymo D thread / Size 10 needles - payable to the teacher)
Class Limit: 10 (Minimum - 3)
Class Description: This necklace, designed by the Saraguran women of Ecuador, uses a variation of their leaf pattern; it can be elegant in gold or black, or funky in lime green.
Technique: Variation of netting, using a brick-stitch type of connection.
Supply List: If students choose NOT to purchase the optional kit, they should bring the supplies listed above plus scissors, a bead mat, and thread conditioner.

  Peyote Pearl Bracelet

Class Description: Pearls channeled within #15 seed beads comprise a bracelet that can be finished in class. Beginners can learn peyote and others will experience a familiar stitch with a different medium.
Technique: Peyote stitch variation
Supply List: The kit will include pearls, a toggle and clasp, thread, and needle. Students should bring scissors, a beading surface, and a task light with extension cord (if needed).

  Basics of Stringing Necklaces
Teacher: Janet Kay Skeen

Class Limit: 10
Class Description: Students will make a necklace with a variety of beads and gemstones, featuring a hand-made Blue Heeler leaf. They will learn proper crimping techniques and will probably finish in class.
Technique: Stringing
Supply List: The kit will include all beads, stringing materials, a clasp, crimps, crimp covers, and a glass leaf. Students should bring scissors, a beading surface, thread conditioner, and a task light with extension cord (if needed).

Class Description: Students will learn to design their own very creative and unique necklace by threading various sizes / types / colors of beads on cable.
Technique: Designing, stringing, fringing
Supply List: The kit will include Softflex, crimps, clasps, seed beads, Czech glass / specialty beads, as well as earwires / head pins for a pair of matching earrings. Students should bring scissors and a task light with extension cord (if needed). If students have a focal bead they'd like to include, they can contact Shawn (303-674-4767) in advance to coordinate colors.

  Russian Leaf Bracelet

Class Description: Students will create an eye-catching Russian Leaf bracelet using a variety of beading techniques.
Technique: Traditional peyote stitch, diagonal peyote stitch, netting
Supply List: Kit will include all beads to complete the bracelet plus a button with a shank, a "margarita" for the centerpiece, directions, and a photo. Students should bring scissors, tan Nymo D thread, #12 Sharps or beading needles, and GS Hypo cement.

  Saraguro Arana Necklace

Class Description: Designed by Aleja Medina of Saraguro, Ecuador, the Arana necklace makes a spider-web of beads. A solid color can be used to emphasize the lacy pattern, or a second color can be added to accent the diamonds which link the web.
Technique: Netting variation with brick-stitch type connection
Supply List: If students choose NOT to purchase the optional kit, they should bring the supplies listed above plus scissors, a bead mat, and thread conditioner.

Class Description: Have fun learning bead embroidery techniques while creating a beautiful pin that can double as a pendant.
Technique: Bead embroidery
Supply List: The Kit includes ultrasuede, Lacy's Stiff Stuff, a carved bone face, assorted seed beads / sequins / crystals, pearls, a pin back, directions, and a photo. Students will need to provide scissors, #12 Sharps needles, E6000 glue, and Nymo D thread.

  Freeform Peyote Bracelet

Class Description: Students will make an easy bracelet by learning a two-needle peyote start and adding freeform embellishment stitches on top. Each finished piece will reflect the individuality of the person who makes it.
Technique: Peyote stitch and embellishment techniques
Supply List: The kit will include a variety of bead sizes and colors, a glass button, needles, and thread. Students should bring magnifier glasses and a task light with extension cord (if needed) plus a sense of humor.
